I know several people either are or are going to price thie weapons based on DPS (even though it's not the true measure of a weapon). Now this list is based of charging 0.25cpu for standard resources and 0.5cpu for named resouces times the DPS, basicly all you have have to do is multiply the DPS of the weapon by the listed number to get your price. Optional componenets, such as Weapon scopes and Weapon Stocks were not added into theequation, so you'll need to add that in your final equation

Numbers will reposted once I double check them

I hope those are your DPS for each gun, and not your prices.

Are you going off of Base DPS with no experimenting?

no, you multiply your base DPS by those numbers to get your final cost... for example...

(taken from the Weapon Cert thread)

Name: Power Hammer
Skill level: 54
Skill box: Master Swordsman
Base DPS: 191.85
Action Cost: 122
Damage Type: Kinetic

Base DPS is 191.85 times 78.5 (base cost) and you get 15,060 credits as your final cost for the weapon.

Im sorry, but this is wrong. These calculations would make a high capacity scatter with 350DPS worth 28k.

it would seem you are correct,I checked the math on the scatter, and it would seem that it should be 67 instead... I will have to double check my number..... teahc me to dothis at work.

Weapon costs ought to be based on how many components it uses, quality of resources, and the old supply and demand, Any other pricing scheme is pure folly.

Quality of resources would directly impact DPS. I would not use this pricing schem though but its not bad, as long as you are not using enhancments

Enhanced weapons would obvously cost more, and no I'm not trying to tell anyone how they should price a weapon. Some price based off CPU, some based of CL level needed to use the weapon, some by just whatever value they want.

The only problem with CPU is several weapons have the same Unit costs, a Plasma Flamer and a Standard Flamethrower have the same resource cost, so does both varients of the Scatter Pistol. I know some want or will cahrge based of the weapon DPS, and this is to help them out.

As for the numbers being reposted, it'll be abit longer. I've been mentoring at work today and have had little time behind the computer.
