Not worth grinding on since you have to have rares to make it, so absolutly nothing right now.

?? if you have the minerals, it reduces your grind time by about 6x - so very much worthwhile

Key statement there. IF you have the rares needed. I saved my rares and just did a little extra time grinding. IMO it is kinda dumb to use rare resources for grinding just because you can get alittle more xp in a combine.

A little more XP? You mean over 700 XP compared to 100ish is "a little more xp?" And those rare resources, what else uses skevon or hydron-3 gasses? Thoranium steel may be used in thermal grenades as well, but who needs those these days either?
If you can find the resources, may as well use them and save a bunch of time, if you're just grinding anyways.

Hydron-3 isn't used for anything other than those. Thorium Steel is used in either a medium Warhead mech or DRX mine can't remeber, but DRX mines suck anyways. There is something else that uses Skevon aswell just can't remember what it is. When I did WS i made Heavy WarHead mechs and saved me alot of time and the resources were not to hard to find or that expensive . Vendor search makes finding cheaper resources easier.

I must be getting old, I was thinking crism was in there somewhere. Oh well, /shrugI am never in a hurry whenI am playing anyway and i got to master WS, 2wice with 2 different charactors. The Skevon gas is (or was, not sure about now) used in armor crafting.

So the heavy warhead mech is not used in any wepaonry what so ever? ..... whats the point in SWG having it as a componant ? [apart from grinding that is]
Hydron-3 gas is also used in Tilla Till a chefs drink.... not entirely sure what it does yet, but will no doubt find out as i grind out chef. BTW this drink also gives out the highest grinding xp in chef. Perhaps thats what hydron-3 gas is used for ... just pure simple grinding. One of those rare but very useful grinding materials.
