Ouch!


My guess is there is no way to get that to stick. You could try putting a +10 or better Polearm Damage tape on something and see if the Wep Exp will stick, but you would probably just end up wasting a tape.


I'm fairly certain that negative stat mods will simply disapear.


I could be wrong, but who knows.

Hello all,

I am relatively new MWS and have a question regarding a skill tape I have.


I have a tape that looks like this:


Medicine Experimentation -2

Weapon Experimentation 2

(in the order listed on the tape)


I am pretty familiar with how multiple stattapes work and how to get a particular stat to stick, but I have not had this one come up before.


I have heard that a - will turn in to a + when you use the tape on something but I have never had a - stat tape worth using. If thats the true, then the Med Exp would stick.


Since I don't really have the money to burn on a +2 Med Exp tape (I am also a doc, but I dont make meds), I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a tape like this.

Are you saying that the tape is med experimentation NEGATIVE 2? If so, the WS Exp will stick, negative's drop as far as I know.

Correct, its a negative. I was under the same impression as you are, but since I have never actually tried it, andnone of the stickied guides seem to include this,I was looking to see if anyone out there had first hand experience with one like this.


I have read a few posts about negatives changing to positives when you use them, but all of those were single stat tapes.


Anyways.... I'm with you, I'm pretty sure the WS Exp will stick, if not:


/yell LTS a belt with +2 Med Exp pst with offers

OK, so I went ahead and used the tape on a unmodded belt, and the WS Exp stuck.
