Thread: question about krayt ion rifle and t21..

im not WS but would like to know the best tissue's and what res i would need for good krayt rifles. how mnay tissue what res and anything else i would need to help. and what would help or hinder the stats when being crafted.

Well the resources should be in stock at the weaponsmith you select.
And tissues as best as possible.
T21 Rifle needs 11 identicals, a Jawa Ion Rifle needs 6 identicals.

Are krayt T21s even worth it? On my main server Kettemoor, its not even attempted by most people, they'd rather use it on something else since tissue is very expensive.
The few who tried selling krayt T21s on trade forum couldnt sell it, just didnt improve the gun very much. 11 identical tissue could sell for multi millions (I seen 3 ident. sell for somewhere around 1-2 mil)

well base tissues are +30 so the t21 would be around 437 max
if you get a speedslice all the cash you spent on the tissues is pointless as a crate of t21 would cost say a million and you would get several damage slices bringing standard t21 to over 500 max damage.
money wise its not worthy the risk unless you loot the tissues personally and are not bothered wether you get a good slice.

Instead of wasting 11 tissues making a krayt T21 I prefer making 2 krayt DXR6bs and I suppose Jawa and I'm not a fan of that rifle.

another question im going to change and make a drx6 rifle , thanks for sugg.. do the tissues have to be same

as they said, in order to use multiple tissues in any gun, they have to be identical serial numbers. (From the same loot drop)

we did an intresting comparison on this issue on a forum topic in sunrunner.
take a basic t21 can get a few and most likley spend around 300k maybe to get a real nice damage slice and say near 520 max. then power it up with your 33% power ups. looking at near 700 max depending on slice and such. take a sliced base tissue krayt t21 and it might be near 600 BUT the catch is you dont want to power this thing up since it cost you so damn much and power ups eat condition.
for this reason krayt tissue for all but the most elite people who like to throw money away or hang a gun on there wall is a total waste in the t21.
makes an intresting argument for just about all rifles actually since they mostly take large amounts of krayt tissue.

Yeah but you can't deny the power of a good Jawa Rifle 
Many players will spend millions simply because they are determined to be the last standing on the pvp battlefield. T21 though, I agree, a complete waste with something like base tissues. On Eclipse, we recently had a set of 11 tissues at around 100 damage sell. I think the ending bid was 13 mil. As a smith, I'd still break up the set, but that's because it's going to be very tough finding someone to drop 15-20 mil on an unsliced rifle, and no way in hell would I slice it! - Woodis

The problem is that no player will pay 15 - 20 mill for an unsliced 500ish unsliced T21, but if you slice it all your cash is wasted with a speed slice
