Thread: Why do I gain no XP????
Weapon Crafting (the one which already was there pre-cu)
Weapons Crafting (melee)
Weapons Crafting (ranged)
Ok, took me awhile to figure this out but here goes.
In a different thread about this same problem I had read that when the CU was on Test Center they noticed 2 different types of weapons crafting listed in the xp window...melee and ranged. Since the publish I also had 2 different listings in my xp window also and all of my crafting xp was going into the one that seemed to have no impact on my progression. Figured I'd try crafting something different than a metal staff since I had already learned all of the melee weapon crafting skills. Sure enough when I crafted a Projectile Rifle Barrel I ended up getting xp in the other weapon crafting line and have been able to progress through the other skill trees now.
Seems that either by accident or by design you have to craft melee weapons or components to advance in the melee weapon skill tree and ranged weapons or components to progress in the other skills. Give this a shot and see if that helps....managed to get me going again with xp. Good luck.
