before the 'fix' single krayt tissues made great FWG5's, scatters and launchers. What are people using single tissues on now? Republick blasters need 3, lasers need 4, DX2's need 5. What is there to make thats worthwhile making, with only a single tissue?

I'm still a big fan of the scout blaster.

Plus, if you can get a really extra-nice tissue on it, it becomes pretty impressive. But some other weapons can be more impressive on a purely damage basis, DH17 maybe.

Scouts, DH17s and Scatters. The scatter still takes one tissue. Without the feed Mech that 1 tissue almost makes the gun worthwhile again.

are single PH carbines or rifles worth putting a tissue in?

Yes. any bit of extra damage is worthwhile. I have, and even use(d) DTL20a's with Krayt tissue.

Making E11 rifles - they turn out to be pretty decent workhorse rifles. Sadly, few rifleman actually appreciate the details. I made a Krayt'ed E11 that came out to 90-220/4.4. Got a 32% damage slice which was nice, then coupled with a maximum damage, mind reducing powerup I've got a 90-383/4.4 rifle with themedium AP and a mind cost of 35. Fast, efficient, and a damage profile that's quite respectable.

On Tempest at least, you make what the market wants, and that remains Scouts.

On occasion, I make E11's, which sell instantly I think as much for the novelty value as for the stats... they're just not popular weapons on Tempest, mostly due to relative resource quality...

DL44 Metal or Scout depending on the speed of the tissue. If the speed is 0.6 or better its almost always the DL44. I still do alot of scatters.

Same here...I've found that the DL44 works the best most of the time.
