Thread: Can't make DLT-20's at Novice???

Just made Novice Weaponsmith.... after grinding axes and flogging them on bazaar... which i quite enjoyed.
ok.... I'll make......ermmmm..... DLT20's. Yeah right. Says you need to make a Rifle Barrel thingy which cant be made untill you reach Intermediate firearms. So why give it to you as an option to craft at novice. I'm hoping I'm wrong and someone will clear it up for me cos thats just plain daft. I can understand if the barrels where an optional add-on but they're needed.
Anyone??

I think everyone who has ever obtained novice WS has wondered about that particular blunder.

Find a helpfully WS with the levels bring him the resources and have him make you a schematic. You run XXX number of barrels then start making your DLT20s.

You could also get some looted barrels off the bazaar and use those. Occassionally there are some good ones.
