What are some known sources of optional components besides Kimogilas & Krayts?

how do you get the optional components to show up on the weapons, such as scopes and stocks?

make them by hand

i know, how do you get them to actually appear on the final weapon?

Remove them from the crate, some weapons however do not allow visible attachments.

Scopes won't show up on SG82's for example.
