im not on the same server as you or indeed even know you but id very much like to say thank you for being so tireless in your representation of us weaponsmiths in a time where frankly you must feel exhausted.

Just been seeing what you have been up to and wanted to let you know its very much appreciated.

And yes it is very frustrating as I do not get the ammount of info to share with you all that I would like.

I do not know what will happen when this hits live, but if I can Ill stay to represent you after the NGE aswell

I'm still not happy with anything I have seem with this Lowest-common denominator system. Hiope we get to see some conversion testings. I'm afraid to make anything and afraid not to. Plus I have about 3 days work to do laying down houses so i can shift all my resources/enhancers to them from my vendors and factories gah

Thanks guys your support means a lot to me.

The reason I put so much work into this is of course my love for the profession, but it is the community that keeps me going.

So thanks to all of you aswell for being helpfull, intelligent and for putting a lot of work into gathering info for our beloved profession.

Thanks for all the nice words Its very heartwarming and hopefully I will get us some answers and have some of our main conserns adressed before this is all over.

As one of the oldest Weapon Smiths you have my respect and sympathy. You deserve a /pat. The devs get no sympathy nor respect. If they were to lose there jobs I woud not lose a blink.

It seems the new system is removing any challenge there was in crafting totally. More than ever we will make the same items. A single crafter can control the entire market simply by underselling the rest of the server since all items are going to be the same. Of course there will be little or no money in it. I expect to see the current population of crafters fall by more than half as there is no longer any pressing need to bother. Of course if the number drop to 1% they will be nerfed entirely I am sure as it can't be because of poor design.

Experimentation... one line any 10 point crafter can max

Village skills... Totally negated

Weapon Caps... Far more restrictive than ever thought possible.

Enhancements... gone

Resource comparisons... really unimportant now. At least based on information collected so far I would venture a guess of up to 10% difference in resource quality will have no major impact on the final product.

Dual skill trees.... so now we have to spread ourselves even thinner.

I ask that you continue to fight, although I do believe it is like a rafter throwing rocks at a battleship. You will not even be noticed and simply overturned and crushed by the wake.
