I figured since we are soon going trough a huge change in terms of weapon crafting and weapon stats, that now would be a good time to have a thread where we could show off

Post Screenies of the best weapons you have made through time or just of weapons with a cool, funny, sweet, interesting or just plain awesome story connected to it.

Also Feel free to add any tales of weaponsmithing you might have and want to share with the rest of the community

I ask of You to keep this thread free of discussion about the upcoming changes, we have many threads dedicated to this allready, this one I would like to keep as a flamefree memonrandum for WS as it was.

Here's one: my first uber flamer

I <3 commando, paid 2mil for that gun, one of the factors that made me pick up WS. DWB flaming ftw!

Checked the twelfth out of 765 PMs I have since I started... it was 3mil

Ill start by posting a few SS.

I never did any screenshots of my weapons, a little sad now But I did make some very nice ones Incliding some of the first double capped pistols on our server before a lot of people knew about Cells and Casings


I will say though that I have enjoyed Weaponsmith more than any other profession I have played, and I have played quite a few. I originally thought my crafter toon would be something to play around with every now and again when I got bored but ended up spending 95% of my time on him!!


The challenge of building up resources, playing with different methods of experimenting, making little tweaks to my sub-componets, bazaar and vendor hunting kept me totally immersed for many months.


Also, I have enjoyed the WS forums more than any other I have posted in and think your a great bunch of guys and gals


Look forward to seeing some beauty weapon screen shots!

Nice stuff, Flurry's server best T21s got to 408 due to resources. I made a 1.8 flamer I think sometime pre-cu, about a month pre-cu. My friend held onto it in the hopes that it would be worth more post-cu... This was during the Krayt population boom when tissues dropped like mad. Very nice scythe too

Weapons aside I believe I have the most Mini R2s on Flurry

These are my definite highlights as a ws. The 35% damage sliced one sold for 70mill on trade forums, and the 25% speed slice one sold for 25mill... Quite a bit more than expected, and of course they converted to something not that good...

looking back pre-cu was soo much more fun imho..



My favorite weapon i created was a 199 damage VK that was unenhanced. I think i burned out 3-4 smugglers slicing 1000 of these to get the perfect slices.


I think i deleted the last few crates a few weeks ago when i deleted my pre-cu vendors.

Ahhh, can't let Summer's Metal DL44 go un-contested!


DL44 Metal Pistol (un-puped stats would have been Speed 1.3 Damage 75-295)


Unfortunately I don't have much in the way of pre-cu screenshots (didn't get 12 points until the CU)... and any screenshot of any gun after the CU is going to be exactly like all of yours', and would look like the same gun that any idiot could put together with 12 points, a couple weeks to gather a few resources, and afew minutes for a music buff.


Anyway, here's some stuff.. I think this was all pre-resource-weight-bug and probably pre-2%-resource-quality-buff.

Ahh, wish I had some assault bowcasters screenied...
