Thread: Practically the same gun but added +44 tissue to 2nd gun. How come??

DPS went down too because you only modified the Max damage and not the min damage. Add to what the above poser said and walaa.

something was .4spd slower on the second gun.

how did you experiment the APBH with the tissue? If youre going for pure DPS do speed on components then Dam on final assembly

How the hell does a gun turn out worse when u use the same Barrels(crated) same resourses but add a single +44 tissue ????????

I have got a Entertainer buffs and stood at Coronet Bazzar with my droid. I didnt get any exceptional or moderate success everyexp was good.


can some of your old time Pro's please advice me on this,

There's been several posts relating to this issue. I beleive the previous coro was attempting to work out the bugs where it was appearing that NON Krayt ABPH's were actually better then if they were enhanced.


You may want to do a few more tests.


Try the same pistol with crated barrels; pre-cu ABPH no enhancements; pre-cu ABPH w/ enhancements; post ABPH w/ and w/out enhancers.


I've been able to make better weapons without krayted then with and feed mechanisms seem odd as well; made a pistol with a better speed although the dmg was lower then the one made without the SpiderFang.

it is because pre-cu ABPH can not be matched post-cu. They usually have better overall stats.

Here is my 2 cents on what I think makes a successful high-end gun (admittedly I am new to WS, and have been learning a lotabout this by reading the forums)


I try to experiment the SAC costs for the components downquite a bitto get a nice low SAC weapon. I also experiment on the accuracy mod on the scopes. I always throw a couple of points at the speed to get the DPS a little higher.


Using some nice krayt tissues, you will already have some decently high damage, and possiblybetter speed.On the final combine, I throw a 2 or 3 points at SAC, and the rest at damage.


This has been producing some nice, low SAC, high damage, nice accuracy and decent speed weapons for me. I am starting to believe that it's not all about DPS, especially when you are talking about the level 80 toons so I have been trying to up the Damage as much as possible... Warm up and cool down timers are built-in to the specials anyway, so the speed seems to have little effect.


I have made some weapons with SAC costs that are about 30-40 points lower which will benefit the playerin a prolonged fight with high-end mobs.

im pretty sure i put 4 points in to SAC and got it to 0 and 6 in to speed. I rarely add a few points into Damage as i seem to get 1point of damage per 1 exp point i use. and being a 10 point WS im limited.

it just semed strange than a 35 Damage margin in the ABPH wouldnt make the 2nd weapon a lot more damage heavy.
