The ORE isnt used in anything a WS can really make....and the Doonium really needs to have a higher OQ and CD.

ty for responding...so what kind of materials are most needed by weaponsmiths and what are the important stats for those?

it depends on the weapon. for guhns we use alot of metal ( mostly specific types of copper and so forth) with high conductivity and oq. i don't make alot of melee weapons so you'll have to ask someone else on those.

Thoughthis rule does not apply to all weapons, generally speaking Shock Resistance for melee weapons, and Conductivity & Overall Quality for ranged. One point to make though, many of the weapons we craft and their various subcomponents require *specific* types of a particular resource, such as Kammris Iron (not just any Iron) or Polysteel Copper (not just any Copper).

Also, be mindful of resource caps. If you think 1000 OQ / 50 Cond Plumbum Iron is junk, it's not.
