I added all my points to the eperimentationnad clicked donr experimenting by mistake. I thought it would do the standardmsg saying 'are you sure etc' it did not do this, it simply created the item!

I replicated the issue easily. only happens when all remaining exp points are commited to an experiment.

Big issue, will submit a /big report.

there is an option to turn off those warnings, you might want to check that before you bug it

i'll look for the option. however when not all remaining experimentation points are commited to an experiment and done experimenting is clicked the expected warning of are you sure is flagged up.

OK, so is this bug when you have used up all your exp points? Or when you haven't?

Either or, I didn't have this problem last night. I was making grenade schematics. Warhead mechs use up all my exp points, andfusing mechs don't... and I made my schems with both just fine.

it happens only when all (remaining) experimentation points are commited to an experimentation attempt.

so it could be the last one on cond. if at that point 'done experimenting' is clicked inadvertantly the item is (without the customary pop up msg dialog asking if you are sure you want to do this) simply created (taken to the naming stage). the experimentation points assigned on the last experimentation stage are not used and are effectively lost.

if there are still experimentation points unused when done experimentation is clicked then the pop up msg askimg whether "are yousure etc" DOES show.
