Thread: Crafting Mines?

Is this something Weaponsmiths do? What is involved eg(schematics, resources, skills, costs, etc)? I am comparing benefits vs. buying them from base officers.

Weaponsmiths can make much better mines than you can buy from recruiters. They use pretty much the same materials as grenades if I remember right (it has been awhile since I made any). The problem is that minefields had stopped working like they were supposed to awhile back. I don't know if this has been fixed or not, though, so you may want to get one mine and set it and see if it works before you put in a big order of them

Hey there. Believe it or not I did a test on a XG-class mine and it detonated when a Jedi came a calling for XP on my NPCs. Can't say it did a lot of damage. He was still alive butthe mineis gone from the field so it had to have detonated.
As far as a crate of mines (thinking about DRX mines--possibly sliced for performance and complete with upgrades--warhead effect boosters) what do you think that costs? I know each field has 20 slots. I still am unsure of how many fields you can equip a base with.
