It's their way of controlling the database, heh. It has actually been this way for a long time, it's just that now they are giving us the curtesy of an Email to tell us what they deleted hehe. When your items go "Auction Unsuccessful" you have about a week to relist it. The relist should set the timer to 30 days of sale. If the sale timer is saying less than 30 days when you relist it, then that is a bug and should be reported. The stockroom deletion is "normal."
People with hundreds of items on their vendor may not have noticed small deletions since we never got an Email about it before.

Are you saying that you had sales up, they timed out and went to the stockroom, then a week or so later are being deleted? If so, that's not a bug. The stockroom (biggest misnomer ever) isn't actually meant as a holding space for our excess stuff. Once an item sits around in the stockroom for a while, it just poofs. It's a way for them to control database issues, because otherwise, we wouldbe able to hold infinite items in the stockroom indefinately.
Or did you mean that they're dropping off your vendor then being deleted within a matter of hours, or a couple days? Because that would be a problem, although one i've yet to see.

I recently lost some rancor padded armor segments and a few weapons I forgot to repost, no big deal. "Million credit" Items should not be stored in the stockroom period, keep them in a factory or a house. I try to regularly check every item in my stockroom. If there isnt an "auction end date" listed, (its blank) that item is in danger of being deleted. Repost it for 30 days and pull the auction and you get another 30 days. (I think). You may want to actually pull it out of the vendor to be super safe.

Aye, my concern is not with the items on the sale list going bad, as i quickly revert those back to the sale list...but I'd thought it was quite acceptable to use a vendor as a pure 'stockroom'. But from what I hear this is not new news....though when i expained it very clearly in a CS ticket, they responded it was a bug...mayhaps its an old bug that they left purposefully....well this makes things very difficult indeed.
I'd thought everyone uses vendor's as mere, stocking room...i guess i'll have to make more use of my factories ingredients hopper...My friend and I have stored things on our vendor for a few months now though, and only recently started recieving this mails...but then as you said, they just gave us that courtesy......oooooohhhh what a pain!!!!!

What's even more nifty now is we get Email notifications that items have Expired!!! Sounds intentional to me not a bug, I mean if it were a bug I don't think they'd be sending a mail saying it expired. I'm not saying I want this "feature" I'd much rather than my stockroom NOT expire!!!

I'm nearly on my last nerve with this latest bug, randomly losing items out of my stockroom, due to it 'expiring'. I've sent a bug complaint into CS...they verified it as a bug and really gave me no helpful info. They said if its on the vendor for more than a week then it's likely to, 'expire'. Surely my friend and I are not the only ones with this problem, I was just wondering if its a widespread bug or if its somehow contained on Eclipse (highly unlikely).
What are we going to do if we cannot hold items on in our vendor's stockroom? I have hundred of items in there and have to bite my tongue everytime I get a mail...so far my losses haven't added up to the millions, but its surely working on it. So what are we to do about this? Pull our entire inventory and re-list it every six days? heh...bad enough keeping our items in the sale rack once a month or however often it is they pull them....
I'd love some input on this,
