I take it that you are thinking that maybe your laser is worth alot of money?
My laser rifles on Radiant....

sell for 20K
and anyone that would pay millions for a weapon is a fool, and a fool and their credits are soon parted, weapons burn up way to fast to worth that kind of expense.

And...the DX2 is a pistol. For a pistol, those stats are godly, and that's why it went for 2M cr.

No, I didn't actually think my laser was worth a lot. I was wondering why the DX went for so much.
But seeing as it is a pistol of near godly stats, I see why it went for that.

Standard DX2 is something like 105-163 2.4, so that one must have had a 34% damage slice with +100 dmg -.8 speed krayt tissues.
2 milisquitecheap for something that uses that many krayt tissues of that quality, so I suspect it may have been a product of the multi-slice exploit unless krayt tissues are REALLY cheap on Bria.

What benefits of the DX2 compared to the laser rifle?
I know that speed is a lot of it and the lower Min of the laser reduces it's value.
What else makes the DX2 better or worse than the laser?

You're asking a question like:
What's the benefits of antankversus a car?
Look at damage type, AP, ideal range, and damage spread. There's so many variables, this question becomes invalid.

PSG is supposed to block everything but they're bugged and have random vulnerabilities.

The other thing about the DX2 is the range mods up close. Pt Blank and Ideal are both great on this pistol. Combined with the good damage, and acid type, the DX2 remains my pistoleer's favorite. Dunno about the Republic though. Haven't had any reasonable Plumbum on Lowca since...well...ever. But there's hope. Decent Polonium finally spawned.

Another advantage of the DX2 is that is an acid type damage, PSG's do not block acid type damage as it would stun or energy.
