Here's some numbers I was assured people were paying for tissues :

49, -0.399 : 100k apiece

30, -0.3 : 50k apiece

These numbers just seem wrong. I can't imagine people paying the prices on the guns that result from these. Am I being scammed here?

seems about right. The really rare ones like +70 and higher sell for like 500k+ i think

But people actually pay that much for the resulting weapons? Seems absurd.

For that matter, what about stacked weapons? Like a DX2? Who's going to pay 400k minimum for a jacked up DX2?

There is WAY too much money in the game. I had a guy turn down my 722 Dmg LLC for 10k and go for a 733 Dmg one at 35K...Mine had 5% better Wound and a 0/17/0 Range. The one he was buying had almost all - stats to range....LOL

whatever whatever

You don't need to have to exploit baz missions go be rich. You can do 25k paying misisons on endor right now, which is 2.5x more than what baz paid. A strong combat class and solo these misisons easily an rake in the bucks. Even easier using and AT-ST.

I've been selling Krayt scatters, FWG5's, and Launchers for 125K each, and I can't keep them in stock...so far I think I've sold over 50 at those prices.

I won't pay these prices, and I refuse to gouge my customers. This is my system:

I am a master WS who specializes in custom weapons. I don't typically buy tissues, as no one is willing to sell them for anything less than outrageous prices. So I came up with this system that works really well. If you want a 1-tissuekrayt weapon made, then you bring me 2 tissues. I use the first to make your weapon, and if its a great/great then you keep the weapon and I keep the 2nd tissue. If its less than great/great, I keep the weapon, and use the second tissue for another attempt for you. If the 2nd isn't great/great, you get the better of the two weapons, and I keep the lesser (assuming no crit failure, in which case I eat the cost). There is no cash payment. I then turn around and sell the lesser guns (which are still way better than non-krayts) and use the extra tissues to make more guns that I sell. I have never sold a 1-handler 30/0.3 tissue weapon for more than 50k, and usually less. And this includes free slicing if you want it by a master smuggler. My customers are most pleased, I get to sell krayt weapons for reasonable prices, and everyone wins. Of course, there are always way more people that want the krayt weapons than there are krayt weapons. But thats ok; I have a waiting list, and I offer the guns to my priority customers. I could jack up the price to 100k+ but I refuse to do this. Money is a low priority to me; karma is much higher...

Taking half of someones loot, for five minutes of your time and 600 resources isn't going to give you good karma either. I've never understood why someone would go for these "give me 2 tissues, I'll give you 1 gun" deals. They're a total scam.

If the going rate for a Scatter pistol is 10k, then the weaponsmith should charge the guy maybe 15k at the most to make him a Krayt gun. My weaponsmith made me 5Krayt guns for exactly what he sells them for retail, and I gave him a tissue as a gift, not as part of the deal. If you have good customers, I'd think you'd do the same.

Tissues can be very hard to come by for some people, and asking them for half of them, just so they can get any use out of them, is wrong. It's really justtaking advantage of people. And is one of the many reasons why tissues should be drag and drop.

As for the worth of Krayt tissues, I don't know. I have 60-70 of them, and they took me a long time to get. I could have made millions doing missions in that time, and with all the groups and kill stealing up there, missions would have been more fun as well.

Anytime anyone asks to buy them, I tell them they're not for sale. Credits are a lot easier to get than tissues, and I'm sure tissues will be harder and harder to get as each day goes by. With more people there, decreased drop rates, and the inevitable nerfs that will come to Krayt hunters.

I just use them to make my own weapons, and give some away to friends, and to crafters who have treated me well in this game, with fair prices and good service. If one of them tried to make a 2 for 1 deal with any of my loot, they'd lose a customer for life.

5 minutes of your time is not worth an hour of mine.

But the hours of pointless clicking that we do, to manufacture a weapon of that calibre, means nothing to you?

it's not also 5 minutes. Takes time to go around getting the best materials too. Adding a feeder will raise the price up alot higher as well.
