so we know that basically the only differences between master weaponsmiths are the resources used. and any master worth the title that has been at it for a long time has stock piles of the best resources that have ever spawned. and if we compared all our guns they should theoretically be pretty close stat wise.

so every now and then i like to cruise the master shops and compare by best against their best. normally the unsliced guns/non krayt guns are really close stat wise but today i saw something that i couldnt explain.

i was comparing unsliced carbines against mine on a masters vendor and noticed they all had twent points more in max dmg than mine. and around ten points more in min dmg. so i looked at the rest of the stats and heres what i saw.

hams were the same as mine

mine was FASTER by .1 (make special note of this)

no power up was used. it was on a vendor that says it is unsliced

the serial numbers matched.

condition was well over 1000 (make special note of this)

ok so we can easily rule out krayt tissues because mine was faster. there were no power ups on them. slices tend to vary and these were all exactly the same. i doubt its any kind of loot power up because there were 4 guns with same serial and thats a total of 16 power handlers. it couldnt be a stock because hams were the same and condition was to high for this person to have spent any on efficiency. if it was a resource issue could it account for 20 points higher max dmg and be SLOWER?? dmg and speed are inseperable so if was using better resources the speed would be better than mine. and if the resources were primo there wouldnt have been enough experimentation points left over to raise the condition well over 1000. also unless advanced rifle barrells were changed they only add 4-5 point more over base barrells. im using advanced power handlers with really nice resources so that cant account for twenty difference. now the most odd thing of all was ALL of the carb models (laser elite and dxr6) were exactly 20 more than mine.

how is this possible?

Nym feeders/couplers.

Ooh, I know I know! The other weaponsmith was using Advanced Blaster Power Handlers. Eclipse just recently got Ostrine ore and the effect has been to raise max damage by 20 points, lower speed by 0.1

not likely because these were factory run guns and finding enough with same serial numbers would be impossible.

and to the second poster i said in my post i was using adv power handlers. so its not that.

never mind i found the problem. i was in fact NOT using advanced power handlers on my last factory run. and once i made the new models using them they came right in line. hate it when that happens =)
