Thread: A question regarding one handed weapons

I recently started a new character on the tempest server, and chose fencer as my profession. I am a master sharpshooter on my main character, so I know at least a little of what can be put extra into rifles, and was wondering what options, if any, a Gaderiffi (sp?) baton has.
For example, I have read that a rancor's tooth is no good for swords, but would it be feasible in the baton?
My current stats are (if memory serves) 125-218 dam, 2.7 speed (speed sliced) 59/35/17 HAM. Would this be considered an advanced model?
I am still having a rough time getting over my laser rifle or good t21, so the fencer weapons seem rather weak. Any help/input as to possible means to upgrade would be appreciated.
