It you "examine" your parts before you build the weapons you will see how much they effect the weapon. It will tell you exactly how much it modifies the speed, damage, and HAMs. I find that scopes modify a weapon's stats a lot, and the HAM only increases an acceptable amount. I find stockspointless when you compare their pros and cons.

As far as advanced vs normal I have noticed a big difference. Using amazing resources on a normal componantgive youa decent result, but using mediocre to poor resources on an advanced componant will give you a result two to three times better. Roughly. Give or take.

I am a new Master Weaponsmith, so I haven't found any GREAT resources for my advanced componants yet, but I imagine that better resources will make that difference more in the range of three to four times better.

Not that great resources for advanced componants spawn very often or anything.

I think that scopes and other advanced components make a huge difference in the finished product. If they're not advanced though, it aint worth it. People complain about HAM costs, but they really are microscopic compared to the benefits. With the coming Karyt/FWG5 nerfs, people better get used to using scopes if they want the higher preformance they have enjoyed.

I have looked and I can't seem to findthebeifitsthat come form the diffrentweapon parts ( weapon scope for example ).

What I would like to know is what are the benifits of using the Adv componets for parts that are required for a weapon ( barrel, Power handlers, etc .... )

What are the benifits that come from adding parts to a weapon that are not required ( scope on a carbine for example). What are the diffrences from the Adv verus the regular modles of these parts.
