Thread: Essential Resources
I have recently started the path to Weaponsmith, and have stockpiled insane amoutns of steel to do my grinding of rifle barrels. Instead of keeping my harvesters on patches of that stell crap, i was wondering what resources shoul i start looking around for, and what resources should i drop everything and harvest it if i find some? Everyone says " I have all the necessary resources stockpiled", buit i hjave no idea what those resources are. Thanks.
Just a beginer looking for some tips.

Go take a look at the schematics and skilltrees on SWGcraft.com that will tell you what you need for each weapon or it's components. There really are far too many specific ones to list here.
Basically, anything with high OQ + Con for guns, high SR for melee.
You're gonna need alot of reactive gas for blaster handlers, good ores and chems, for them too, and copper is your friend (because it has nearly always high Con).
Good luck...
Some of the resources that seem to be particularly rare (and thus drop everything and harvest them like crazy when they spawn) are:
- Ostrine Carbonate Ore
- Diatium Copper
- Irolunn Reactive Gas
- Alantium Carbonate Ore
- Ryll Gemstone
- Rainbow Gemstone
- Plumbum Iron
- Axidite Iron
- Rhodium Steel
- Duralloy Steel (at least on Corbantis, anyways)
This list isn't all encompassing, but it's a good start for what you should be looking out for. Have fun. ![]()
Slim Vargo, Corbantis
ok, ill keep my eye out for those.
Thanks for the help guys :-D
You'll go through advanced power handlers like butter...Most of the items needed for those were in the above list, but to reiterate:
Ostrine Carbonte Ore, Phrik aluminum, Diatium Copper, and Irolunn Reactive Gas this is very important as you use 16 units of it for each power handler. Now you should still get high quality ingredients for the basic power handler, as that can be used in some weapons for better speed. I.e. in a Heavy particle Beam Cannon you wont notice the 20 point drop in max damage, but you will notice the .7 speed difference you might get between advanced and non advanced power handlers.
