OK, just made my first Rancor tooth enhanced weapon last night. A 2H curved sword, and it is IMO a far stretch to refer to it as enhanced. First of all, for any of you who have not made one yet, the tooth replaces a sword core(which I was previously not aware of) Bottom line...perfect experimentation....results 30'ish min dam. 254 max, spd 4.1...my advanced sword cores are far better to use than these stupid teeth. My 2H curved swords are 62-247, spd 2.6..What a waste..7 xtra max damage at the expense of all that min dam and speed.....and someone on our server paid 200k for a couple of these recently! Im posting this primarily to see if anyone else has used these and gotten different results. If not these things are garbage loot.

raising min by 30 by loosing 7max are good trade off. You can pull any dps calc you want but there is no way to ignore the fact that higher min damage improve yours sucky hitswhen you hit for low end damage on your possible damage scale.

That is my opinion anyway

Precisely Vorp, thats why the advanced sword core is much more worthy than a rancor tooth.

If you reread, you'll see he LOST 30 min dmg for 7 more dmg and slower speed. At least that's the way I took it

Exactly...Well, I will never use these things again! I did pay 25k a piece for them too! I feel stupid now. I had previously assumed these would be added on to the sword core much the way krayt tissue was, thus giving my core an additional 50 max damage. Sometimes ya learn the hard way I guess.

Hey Shiloh, when i saw the bidding on those things I was meaning to ask you whats up 'cause I thought maybe something had changed or I was just missing something ....I've been getting pretty burned out lately and just let it pass....I'm really starting to hate this business...if i decide to retire - can you make me a a uber leet best weapon on the server for a good price ...and don't think you can rip me off 'cause I know how much these things are worth and can get it cheaper from <insert mythical smith's name here> but he's not always on <or some other lame excuse as to why you should feel privileged to get his business>....

Don't forget the teeth also are less accurate and higher HAM as well.

Maybe there's a Rancor King somewhere with better teeth, but I doubt it.

ahh so he lost min damage instead?? darn that sucked. In that case iam very very sorry, must have missed something.

I would not say that Cores need to get nerfed, but rather why dont try to make devs to buff rancor parts instead?

Is Elite or Legendarymods avalible for this item?
