Okay I just finished making crap loads of Heavy Warhead Mechs and my brain is well mush. Also, I am new to the whole WS and am now going to pick your brains. I am going to focus on melee weapons because well enough people do not put a lot of time into them and more into guns. What kind of numbers should I want to make good weapons on the following resources:
Resource Name -- Experimentation attribute
Desh Copper -- UT
Class 3 Solid Petrochem Fuel -- UT
Platinite Copper -- UT
Dolovite Iron -- UT
Ditanium Steel -- UT, SR
Byrothsis Crystalline Gemstone -- SR
Polysteel Copper -- SR
Colat Iron -- SR
Kammris Iron -- SR
Duralloy Steel -- SR
Phrik Aluminum -- SR
Carbonite Steel -- SR
Neutronium Steel -- UT
I plan on doing a lot of experimenting and playing around with stuff. I do not plan on making weapons to sell to the general public but rather a custom order guy who makes for friends and people who contact him personally. For me money is not an issue so I do not have to sell to the public.
Thanks for the info if ya post it,

Desh Copper -- UT - mine is 370
Class 3 Solid Petrochem Fuel -- UT - no such stat for this weapon, any class 3 will do
Platinite Copper -- UT - I think mine is around 800, not sure
Dolovite Iron -- UT - mine is 891
Ditanium Steel -- UT, SR - aim for about 850 on both
Byrothsis Crystalline Gemstone -- SR - low, maybe 400 if you are lucky
Polysteel Copper -- SR - mine is 798, 800 is max
Colat Iron -- SR - 800 is max, mine is 788
Kammris Iron -- SR - mine is 970
Duralloy Steel -- SR - mine is 999
Phrik Aluminum -- SR - mine is 802, max is around 810 I think
Carbonite Steel -- SR - mid-900's, not sure if it will go higher
Neutronium Steel -- UT - not sure about this one
Class 3 Solid Petrochem Fuel -- UT - no such stat for this weapon, any class 3 will do
Platinite Copper -- UT - I think mine is around 800, not sure

AFAIK, these are the theoretical max values. So you got something to compare with.
Desh Copper -- UT 400
Class 3 Solid Petrochem Fuel -- UT none, any class 3 will do
Platinite Copper -- UT 800
Dolovite Iron -- UT 900
Ditanium Steel -- UT 850, SR 900
Byrothsis Crystalline Gemstone -- SR 420
Class 3 Solid Petrochem Fuel -- UT none, any class 3 will do
Platinite Copper -- UT 800
Dolovite Iron -- UT 900
Ditanium Steel -- UT 850, SR 900
Byrothsis Crystalline Gemstone -- SR 420
Polysteel Copper -- SR 800
Colat Iron -- SR 800
Kammris Iron -- SR 1000
Duralloy Steel -- SR 1000
Colat Iron -- SR 800
Kammris Iron -- SR 1000
Duralloy Steel -- SR 1000
Phrik Aluminum -- SR 900
Carbonite Steel -- SR 1000
Carbonite Steel -- SR 1000
Neutronium Steel -- UT 720

This is really great for a new master. Is there anywhere where I could finda list like this for other classes of weapons? I know to go to swgcraft but it would be great if there were a sticky somewhere that broke down resource type by classes of weapons.
Thanx in advance to all you incumbant masters, and I hope that I didn't overlook what I am asking for elsewhere

Well I am starting to use Fooman's WS Tool and there are some great resources on the SWGCraft fourms. Check that out for a good shopping list. Also, the tool rocks but I having a lot of trouble with it, prolly cuz I am using Excel 97.
