i have had bad luck coming across any weaponsmiths in game to help me out, but i am curious. i am interested in having some weapons made for me. personally, i would like to come up on all the necessary resources and components needed to make the best weapon possible for myself, to then in turn give to a weaponsmithn to craft the weapon. i am master bounty hunter, and am looking to get custom makes of an LLC, scatter pistol, and possibly a carbine. if anyone can share any information it would be much appreciated. i have about 4 million credits in my possession, so i do have somewhat of a cap. any help is appreciated. thanks

Any decent weaponsmith will already have resources better than what you can find. All you need to provide is krayt tissue, themepark form-fitted stocks, and any exceptional/legendary components you might have.

what are components exactly? i have looted some random things, like a pistol barrel. is that considered a component?

Power handler, pistol/rifle barrel, projectile feed mechanism, stock, scope. Looted ones are almost always worse than crafted, themepark ones are sometimes better.

I have to agree with SIG some of the resources used are months old some just post release but there is new stuff constatnly spawningand us WS are on it IF it is worth our trouble and time finding the LOOT enhancers is often beyond a WS (not a heavy combat template) capability with out having to charge outrageous prices for the finished product if you find the correct enhancements and spend some time looking and i mean LOOKING not just swinging onto tat or core and finding a WS any old WS you may find a good one or you may not and just because he is a good one doesnt mean he will charge you 200-300 cru for the raw materials though there are plenty that will you may want to afk macro looking for a ws for custom work (i suggest avoiding coronet in this because the 'big boys' typically will anser you and you said you were on a budget) i often use korvella and actually pay attention to some of the spam there where in coronet i turn my spatial off completely and only track visible bubbles if im totally bored waiting for a shuttle

the WS you are looking for is one that has been in the feild for at least 6mos and mines their own materials this will lower your cost because they are not paying 10-100+cru i missed what server you are on but Monohk 'eros is on bloodfin if you have any questions
