Thread: Are all schematics going to be DELETED?

Is soe gonna nerf all crates and delete all schematics as part of their neverending quest to improve the game?

Anything is possible.


I could see a post along these lines...


Scematics made prior to the latest publish are not in the game due to a server error that miscalculates the resource quality effect ratio.

Who knows. If the crated items and schematics are going to stay in the game, 90% of established players wont need to buy any of the "new" weapons or armor until sometime in 2005.

i really dont see this happening....at least for awhile......it would basically ruin any up and coming master weaponsmith....and their intent is opposite that....just my thoughts

Howdy;


Appears they don't go after the weapons themselves (imagine the howls THAT would produce) but they DO kill the schematics and shortly after the crated items. I currently have about 30 or so crated FWG's that I am sitting on - figure sooner or later they will screw up and I can unload em 8]

Couple of things.


Lineage 2 is about as fun watching paint dry. I have been in the beta for awhile. The graphics are sub-par and the game play consists of killing 2000 wolves and buying things from a NPC vendor.


The first person asked a question if they are going to nerf schematics.


No one knows including myself.


If they make the changes to the crafting system and leave the crated items and schematics in the game, the majority of players will never buy any "new" crafted items.


Anything is possible.

Well you can pull them out they'll just come out nerfed

Also why start a useless, misleading, rumor mongering thread like this in the first place?

/agree with the last post. Schematics should stay because unlike the FWG5 the actual build of the weapons remains the same. Some in this thread should stop making up rumors and stick to the facts as we know them.

Why not start a useless misleading post when the change is useless and misleading. All the master crafters have already created a life-time supply of schematics and crates. This change will not impact us other than not having to make schematics for some time and not being able to upgrade to new spawns for some time to come. This change has no impact on the existing crafting community other than to create a new pre-nerf market from which the rich will get richer (i.e. me) and the poor will getshafted.


The change provides no benefit whatsoever to the weapon crafting community. They did not re-evaluate experimentation to add functionality that we wanted - splitting out speed, damage and wound experimentation. Improving value of experimental points against ham and accuracy so better customized weapons could be made. Fixing items such as scope and stocks to add additional variety. Could they not have implemented as part of a true revamp that we allw anted. Yes they could have but chose no to.


As for your rumour mongering point, maybe - but is it so unlikely that the suggestion has not been considered by them? Why not delete every schematic and nail every crate? If locking down every crate would create a total revolt wouldn't deleteing every schematic be a middle of the road compromise? They obviously don't care about 1000's of complaints from the crafting community regarding what they plan. Why not do this to put everyone on an even playing field. Is this such an absurd idea? They didn't NEED to remove the old schematics - they chose to. We'll see what they do on this one


Is my original postuseless, misleading and rumour mongering - yes Sir - Totaly agree - so is every other post on this weaponsmithing forum as it relates to this change.Maybe this post bothers some because it would destroy their plans on how they are planning to get around the change and make millions down the road? IF SOE truly felt this change was absolutely necessaryright here right now then they should nail every crate, delete every schematic and move on.Since we all expectthey won't, tells you how important this change really is.Expects hundreds of useless, misleading and rumouur mongering posts in the upcoming weeks and monthsabout the pre-nerf market destroying the economy, the greedy price gouging master smiths and how new smiths don't have a chance.
