It needs AP. Other than that, it's a good for a non-cert weapon.

If it had AP then it should need a cert.

IMO, I'm a Wookiee with 0 fighting skills, and if it was AP1 I think it woudl be a bit unbalanced.

I use my bowcaster all the time, but IMO, no NoCERT weapon should have armor piercing.

Tuckiee looks like the uber one star bandits can't stand not being able to be uber without sacrificing anything.

For the naysayers the bowcaster is supposed to be like the DLT20 which it is. Sure for a wookiee rifleman the bowcaster is not all that useful but then how useful is the DLT20?? the dev's won't fix the bowcaster because it is balance and imho we are lucky to get a weapon like it that is not certified anywhere.

If you want something for the wookiee rifleman try and get and advanced version introduced as the bowcaster is ever destined to stay the way it is as long as wookiee's don't have to do anything other than exist to use it!

Oh and both Tuckiee and I are wookiee's and I myself am a Rifleman as well as a MWS so we should know a little something of what we are talking about. (be thankful it has not been nerfed to using only one power supply)!

The bowcaster is fine.


5.2speed 294max damage is more than enough for a weapon you can double enhance (Krayt Tissue, Power Coupler AND Spider Fanges/Nym Feeders/Gorax Bones) that you dont even need a certification for.


Maybe they can make a RIfleman Bowcaster for Wookiees that has some sort of Armor Piercing, that again only Wookiees can make/Use but at a novice Rifleman level instead of Marksman.

Maybe make it as good as a laserrifle.
