Thread: Dedicated Weaponsmith Site?
I am still working my towards Master Weaponsmith. Hopefully I will reach that coveted plateau sometime soon. I have been doing a lot of research as to how to be the best Weaponsmith that I possibly can once I reach it. There is a rather large amount of information scattered throughout the community that can sometimes be hard to find. Sometimes it may be a FAQ that is stickied on a forum, but it is also a link on page 5 of a forum to an article on someone's personal site that is very helpful to aspiring Weaponsmith such as myself.
What I would like to suggest is a Weaponsmith oriented website. There are already sites out there for Bio Engineers, Bounty Hunters, and the like, but no site is dedicated to our profession. I would not mind doing it myself, but since I have not mastered it yet, I may not have enough content for it. If someone else has started one, please let us know. If not, I can start one, but I would be relying on others for some of the content.
Let me know what you all think. Also, please correct me if there already is one that I just have not found yet

The problem is we are the poo putts of professions. We are actually competeing with one another to some extent. Also the basic nature of other professions do not change from server to server as a weaponsmith does. We are prisoners of our servers. Its hard to have a resource discussion about the recent osterine spawn, or to discuss what the overall stats of a particular type of weapon are. Sometimes on some weapons its comparable, but with others major differences. So on one server link steel and corellian wood might have been fantastic in the recent past . While on another the resources have always been garbage. Person A talks about makeing standard llc with min dam 450 while person b might be talking about llc 438 being the best. We can just have a hard time discussing what the best weapon stat is. If those extra points came for a uber stalk. That on one server can be made on another no chance in hell.
So would a weaponsmith site affords the same rewards that a site for bhs might. Not really. Depending on which server we are on the rules change somewhat. This kind of thing limits what can actually be gained.
