Well I finally made my first batch of guns. Just curious to see what everyones thoughts are on what i should be charging for them, since I have no clue. Please note that none of these weapons have been sliced yet, and none of them have powerups on them at this point.

Krayt Flame Thrower

5.4 800-1300 (approx numbers) I didnt make this one by the way, but I would like to sell it.

Krayt Jawa Ion Rifle

5.5 147-255 (I am guessing at the min damage since the server is in reset mode, but max damage is accurate).

Krayt Republican Blaster.

2.2 60-256

T21

7.2 133-365

Laser Rifle

5.5 100-507

Fwg5

2.2 max damage is 172 (no idea what min damage is, i foget)

Republican Blaster

2.4 Max damage is 204 (again no idea what the min damage is)

I realise this info is a bit incomplete, but I would appreciate your best feedback based on the information you have.

Also, what weapons seem to be hot sellers these days??

Prices are always what people are willing to pay. Go to other shops and check out the prices/stats and price at will. If you price too high not that many sales. If you price too low you will find yourself selling too much and working too hard to keep yourself stocked. Always best to price stuff according to how much you want to work on your factories.

Speeds on these seem a little slow, but overall nice. What were the stats on your tissues? What's the stats on your ABPH?

What server?

The first major part of your equation is as follows server planet location. For example busy server corellia outside of coronet. You will make more dough here then say quiet server talus just outside of dearic.

T21 is a rarer weapon to find, and is harder to make I charge 20 k for these and they sell.

Pistols go for between 3 k and 6 k at my shop

laser rifles I sell for four k, but since yours look very nice you might get by with upwards of ten k. Just guessing have no clue of your servers resources. This may be a common outcome. If my recollection serves mine are comeing out 85 min damage, but if your server has this kind of good stuff then it might be that everyone can make them this good

Rule on krayt weapons I am betting you looted these yourself at some point. I would recommend you try to auction them on your trade forum. People pay exorbitant sums for stuff on there. Just start out the auction at fifty thousand k for every tissue used in the gun.

Say a krayt flame uses 4 you should start the bidding at two hundred k and see where it goes from there. The jawa the same and the republic blaster at 100 k.

wow man, on Lowca everything is inflated, if I sold pistols for 3-4K and laser rifles for 4K I would be broke...........I would LOVE to sell them for that cheap, but I can't afford it and its pretty much the same across the whole server...........

I used to charge a flat rate of 38 cpu (ie. if the weapon uses 100 units of metals, I charge c3,800). The nice thing about that is that if nobody buys one weapon, you can just use the resources in another weapon / product. I pretty much mined all my own resources, and so 38 cpu was enough to make a reasonable profit on the weapons (after you account for the resources you mine, and then re-mine and re-mine again when better stuff comes out).

As for rare stuff like krayt, etc, I would basically take what I paid on the auction to purchase the stuff (I didn't have time to fight stuff), and then double the price and sell for that. Sometimes people would bring me rare stuff on consignment, and in this case, I'd just take a reasonable guess, or hold an auction to figure out the price.

For damage sliced stuff, I used a formula:

damage sliced price = (base cost) + (cost of slicing materials) + (base cost)*6 / (35 - slice%)

speed slicedprice = (base cost) + (cost of slicing materials) + (base cost)*1 / (35 - slice%)

The sliced prices work out so that on average you'd have to slice about 4x as many weapons to get the same slice you were looking for, and so it's beneficial to both parties. Having said that, the high damage stuff seems to always sell in the first 4 hours (even when I don't advertize), and the lower slices seem to linger for a week at least before they sell. It try to only slice the most popular stuff ....

Some people put too much math into it.

General rule of thumb is I charge what I would pay for them.

I calculate teh DPS, then use:

200 x DPS forAP0

250 x DPS for AP1

300 x DPS for AP2

+ any special additional materials, DOTs, scehmatic costs, etc.

Any good speed slice I price at minimum DPS, using the above, and the minimum speed mod that a person has at certification, I call this a Novice weopon as only novices care about speed.

Any good Damage slice I price at the max DPS attained as a Master at that weapons class as Masters only care about Max Damage.

My weapons vary from 6K - 150K for standard non-special weapons.
