Hi there,

Sorry to barge in on your boards, but I wondered if you guys might have some info that might help me, as I'm completely lost, and I figured to ask here would be the best first step. If I'm wrong, I'm very sorry, if you can let me know where I should go to get info that'd be great! Anyways... enough waffling.

I took a trip to the Geonosian Labs, and looted some White Geonosian Cubes, and some Solidifying Agents. All well and good, but these seemed a little strange. There seems to be no details on them. No stats, not even a serial number. The descriptions there, everythings right about them... there's just no information on game stats.

I've dealt with Geonosian cubes before, and they've all had serial numbers on them. But these guys don't... so I have no idea if they're the same serial or different or what!

Should it be this way? Do I need a Weaponsmith to examine them, much as a Jedi has too examine a crystal? Or are they bugged?

I hope someone here might know, and if not, would know who I should be pestering for info instead!

Thanks for your time and trouble, and again, sorry for dropping in on your boards, I just didnt know where to start!

Well first the White geo power cubes, there are some that can be looted that have no serial numbers on them, I have heard it is a bug... and i have heard it is intentional... but no confirmation on either from the devs that I have seen, as white cubes have no stats ( just base power cubes) there will be nothing to read on them... solidifying agents, all the ones I have seen have a serial #, dmg amount they add, and another stat ( name escapes me currently) ...I have never seen a solid agent w/o stats... does not mean it can not happen, but just have someone else take a look to be sure... but if they truely have no stats then they are not going to be helpful in weapon creation since they will not add any bonus' like dmg they usually would have on them....and lastly stats on geo loots is viewable to everyone... it is not like a Jedi with crystals and pearls... hope this helps

Thanks for the help. I've rechecked, and I have 15 White Cubes, and 6 Solidifying agents without Serial numbers or stats. Just descriptions and nothing else. The Sword Cores I have all have stats...

*shrug*

OK, thanks again for the help, it's much appreciated.

It's actually a fairly well known bug and an very easily exploitable one. The same thing happened with Krayt tissue once, and although they never release that information, we're pretty sure there was some banning involved with that one.

To be perfectly safe you should contact a CSR, but there's always the possibility they may confiscate them, and there's no guarantee whether you'll be reimbersed. If you don't want to do that, you'll probably be ok as long as you don't make schematics with them.

I took the time to ask the csr on the chatrooms. If you ever have a question that is an excellent place to start. They did confirm its a bug. Any item that normally has a serial number, and does not is a bug in the game. You are permitted to use it as if it were a regular item, but not to exploit it.

In other words you are allowed to use it to make the gun, but not allowed to use it to make infinite schematic. Which beleive it or not is very easily traceable now. Since you can only make one gun, and thus one serial number. Do the right thing and point this out to the smith you use.

Some people will look for any excuse to cheat, and if you read the terms of agreement. I beleive you will find it stated clearly ignorance is no excuse. Early on in the game the devs csrs made it a point to state this over and over again. If people need clarification we have ready access to it at any moment of the day. Just go to the galaxy chatrooms. Go into a room and ask the csr. Trust me most of the time they have nothing better to do, and are more then happy to answer any question.

If something seems funky, and you are not sure ask them. If they say it is okay then go ahead and do it. That way if you ever get called on it you can just give the csr handle that told you that you could. Atleast you will not get banned.

Thanks for all the help guys, it's much appreciated!

I've logged CSR ticket so I can get a clarification sent too me, but I'd never thought to go into chat and ask there. In fact I wasnt aware they were in there, but I'll log on soon as see if I can get their help there.

Thanks again for all your time and trouble, I'm much obliged and it's great to be able to ask for help and find people who know what they're talking about, and are willing to help.
