Hey, has anyone made modified republicblasters lately? I made 2 crates of modified republic blasters couple of days ago.

It still says when examining it that it needs marksman pistol III, but i tested it with my BH and 2 of my guildmates tested it too and it sayd that you dont have skills to use it.

Then i looked up pistoleer who tested it and it didint say that he cant use it.

Any marksman can use the modified republic blaster. But it says "certified: no" for everyone. But only novice pistoleer can use the regular republic blaster.

The modified republic blaster cert bug has been in since modified republic blaster was first introduced like 8 months ago.

ETA on fix? hahahahaha

I tested it with my BH and shooted some kritters with that mod. republic blaster, damage was low and each time i shooted i got message that i dont have skills to use that weapon.

Then i used another modified republic blaster wich is maby 3 or 4 months old, it worked and i didint get any message.

So have they changed modifed republic blasters cert to novice pistoleer?

Do I need to be a Pistoleer to use a Republic Blaster?

Yes. You must be at least a Novice Pistoleer to use this blaster. This weapon previously required no certification, however this has been changed. All existing Republic Blasters and Modified Republic Blasters require Novice Pistoleer.
