Thread: they say my rifle barrels look funny :(

Howdy!
Just a quick question about rifle barrels. a guildie wanted me to make a couple guns but he requested no barrels. at first i thought he was just joking but it turns out he wasn't. he was referring to the little knob at the end of the barrel. we went back and forth as i tried to convince him that i don't add anything special...that is simply how they turn out.i craft mostly by hand rather than by the crate seeing as i am merely a guild WS and not a galaxy wide merchant. i always craft advanced components...which i believe is why the barrels look "different" and i am just assuming that since they are hand crafted they turn out that way also. if anyone can help clear up my suspicions that would be awesome!

Some weapons will show the barrel (adv and basic) when crafted by hand.
If you don't want it to show, you'll need to make a crate of barrels and load it into the schematic directly from the crate, don't take it out of the crate.

Why does it matter what they look like before assembly..... the gun doesnt look difrent eaither way lol tell the person that is giveing u the hard time to learn the game before he preaches it to others.

Thanks for the info...i figured it was the factory crate bug thing. same reason i got T21s with invisable stocks lol. never really understood why aesthetics mattered anyhow since the weps do the same damage regardless of how they look. oh well guess people are in to that type of stuff.

T21s will show the droopy barrel end when the barrel is used out of the crate or when the barrel is the last one in the crate when crafting the weapon.
