First-

I bought a Krayt Sctatter Pistol and these were it's stats:

111-213 1.4 Speed (Post Slice, was a speed slice so that was bad luck)

-I'm not complaining it's a nice weapon but I keep hearing ofmuch higherDamage Scatter pistols, is it all in the slice and power ups or are there more enhancements I need to create a better weapon.

Second-

My main character is a Rifleman and I noticed that my rifles are subpar compared to other riflemen's,How do I go about getting a high quality rifle?

Any help would be appreciated.

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

Other rifleman on your server, or other riflemen in general? If the latter, then it's not a valid comparison given the variance in resource qualities.

If the former (and I assume that's what you mean hopefully) then you should be able to ask your regular weaponsmith to take some time out to make a good one. Given the flatness across the board with the weapon making process, the materials they are using to make high end carbines and pistols will make just as good rifles.

At the same time, understand the limitations we work in.

For example - we cannot choose to work against only damage, or only speed. They are both improved when experimented against damage, so I prefer to call this experimenting against DPS.

If you want better HAMs, it comes at the cost of DPS.

Scopes can be made to give great benefits to accuracy with minimal cost, so inquire after those too.

I guess a good starting point would be to state what your current rifle stats are and what your expectations are?

get better tissues is the way to go. but the gun you make with +100 tissues is not one that you will actualy use much cuase its sooo expencive. On a side note when you go ask for an T21 and the weaponsmith tell you that his are 115-345 dont tell hm that thats crap cause mister so and so sells ones with 1000damage presliced on his vedor for only 50k when i know for a fact that those stats arnt even close to posible even with a stock slice and powerup Thats how most of the people on my ignor list got there.

Thanks for the info guys that really helped me understand your profession a little better and yes I was comparing my weapons to others on the same server.

BTW- I would never tell any crafter they stink, I always shower them with praises because craftingseems likea hard profession to manage with harvestors, factories, venders, promotion, maintance fees, and such. I'm just starting to get interested in Top of the Line weapons.

Heh, don't worry about that other guy - I guess he had one rude customer too many! I didn't take anything you said as disparaging to anyone. Just seems a lot of people out there still do not understand the basic things for slicing, or using powerups - or that there is some magic we can wave our arms in the air and presto, we can suddenly make better weapons from the same resources. Or my personal favourite, the request to get a "good" gun - as if "good" was a quantifiable term

That being said - you still haven't stated what the stats of your guns are now, and what you'd like to try get. I'm a weaponsmith that likes to focus on rifles but unfortunately I am on Gorath, but still, it'd be an interesting discussion.
