I'm using an equipment factory for the first time and I'm unsure of what to do. I've loaded everything and it's running but I can't access the output hopper. I'm assuming that I have to "stop" the factory first but if I stop the factory and withdraw the components made so far can I start the factory again and it will pick up right where it left off? Or will I loose the remainder of the schematic and/or the resources I've deposited into it? Also, is it necessary to put in exactly the amount of resources needed fora particular schematic or can you put in more than is needed and retrieve what is left over later?

You can stop and start factories mid-run without losing anything - or you can just select the Options radialoption itself to open the hopper without having to stop it.
