i just started a new char and i have a dilemma should i got wepsmith or armosmith

my main char is a wookiee so he doesnt wear armor and i dont knon much about armor but still

or should i go wepsmith i know alot of weps pretty well i was a master pistoleer, master rifleman,bh and a commdo(still am)

i dont know anything about crafting proffesion so wich proffesion should i go with and whats the up and downs of each one

If you want to get to use the things you make, then choose weaponsmith, since (as you said) wookies can't wear armor. Keep in mind the grind past Novice Weaponsmith is tough since there aren't any high XP weapons to craft at that point. I'm not sure what armorsmith can make at novice, but your best bet at weaopnsmith is ~50 XP Projectile Barrels that use only steel.

wookie armorsmiths are sort of a walking contradiction, but... You will still be able to sell plenty if you can make good stuff! I dunno some of us over on the armorsmiths board are trying to get some AR0 armor for wookies perhaps, which would be kinda cool

Being a wookiee and hence not really well versed with armour - this might come off as a dumb question - but what would be the point of AR0 armour? Is not AR0 the same as nothing?

AR0 armor would have resists but not the 50% damage reduction from AR1.

right, it would take penalties to light armor pierce weapons (most pvp) and some pretty heavy penalties to any medium pierce weapons, but... i think it would improve the wookie situation overall.

But its hard to call something armor that has an armor rating of none, true. Eh, we're still throwing it around, at least wookies would have something besides the flakey PSG.
