Thread: I need technical advice
Hello fellow weaponsmiths !
I am posting here to gather information about a specific carbine I need :
My case :
Being a master doctor using carbines (4402 in carbinier being my goal), I always fight while buffed with D enhance buffs packs. While buffed, my action and health substats are anywhere between 1800 and 2500.
Weapon ham costs are thus irrelevant for me and I can spam specials all day without feeling it.
At the moment I am using well crafted Laser, DXR6, snub DH17 and Elite carbines made by proeminent weaponsmiths. These weapons are "out for the crate" mainstream ones, crafted to accomodate unbuffed players.
My needs :
I wish to order custom made weapons with the highest possible damage per second ratio, and highest hit at range bonuses, without any ham usage constraint. I need to know how this kind of weapon is crafted.
Questions :
I suppose the weaponsmith should devote all his exp points on damage instead of ham reduction on the final assembling, is it right?
Can it also be done on the crafted sub components ?
Does adding these optionnal components (stock and scope) help on damage ? on hit bonuses ?
What kind of ham cost inflation would these modifications entail ? 20%, 50%?
Would all the 3 ham costs be affected evenly by these mods ?
Thanks for answering !
P.S : I know using creature looted components (Krayt tissues etc ) will improve damage, but as I don't have the cash to buy these kind of weapons, I need explanations pertaining to weapons crafted with harvested/mined ressources only.

Yeah, and if the weaponsmith had points left over you could have them work on accuracy or durability instead of HAM. And add scopes (which increase accuracy at the expense of HAM).
But damage is the first thing everyone experiments.
