I just finished making a vibroknuckler with an enhancement with the following stats. 2.2 attack speed
46-212 damage. This is sliced, but without any power up on it. Does anyone know how much this is worth or an idea on what i should charge. Thanks.

Well I am on Ahazi server and have not seen VK sell for more then about 6k after slicing. An the stat you stated of 2.2 on speed is actually slow. When I was getting VK's I was looking for speeds of less then 2 and damages of about 150 or so. Hope this helps you in deciding your prices for it.

Depends on your server. I'll tell ya right now you could get a lot more than 30k for that on Chilastra.

TKM's don't care about speed, with 2.2 they still hit the cap, I consistantly sell my VK's for 8250 on Starsider 37/145 2.2 speed. People will pay for that extra damage so I would say in or about 30k range.

30k is way too low for that weapon. 10k is average price of vk's on Corbantis 147(2.2). Id guess 250k on your vendor and it would sell in less than a day. Your target customer on that weaopn is not the bargain shopper but a tkm who wants only the best, so price accordingly.

personally i would sell that for 30k ..your profit margin is still substantial and u may gain a new customer if he sees you are a fair dealer..
Remeber is it not more important to have a satisfied customer then to make a quick penny today..
you will make much more money off of someone in the long run if you treat them fair.

I sell Vibros that will slice up to that for 7k on my vendor. I personally willnot sell sliced weapons. If people want to slice them, that is thier business. I don't want any confusion about the fact that my gun's stats are true, and can be improved by slicing at the cost of decay, if you so wish to gamble.
I'm not saying weaponsmiths shouldn't have their guns sliced. I just chose to make it a policy not to.
Today a guildmate of mine took a low level Krayt Republic (250 Max Damage) I made himand had it sliced. He hita 35% Damage slice and took it up to 330 or so. Then he put a +33 Powerup on it and I think he said it was doing somewhere near 440 max damage. That makes for a nice sliced pistol, but it was his decision, and he knows it will decay quickly.

Have we received factual evidence yet on the "cost of slicing" ie faster decay?
As far as I remember they didn't decay any faster than non sliced.

i've not seen a faster decay rate on my wpns from slicing...although all wpns i make are unsliced...just talking about my personal wpns.

slicing does *not* effect *anything* negatively, *including* decay.
Powerups, however, do increase weapon decay rate.

How about the chances of successful repair?
