I heard a rumour that the devs had (or were going to) nerf the geo blaster. Is there any truth in this?

I just wish the development team would come out and say it. The combat rebalance is just going to be a big nerf to many aspects of the game. I think people expect their professions to be fixed and a lot of other things, but the only thing I see is the big nerf stick coming down. I kind of hoped the balance would have been done months ago because there are going to be a lot of pissed off people when they do get around to it.
