Many Weaponsmiths began reporting of this experimentation glitch that started after the 10.3 Patch in the Quarterly Report thread. I just posted a detailed report of the feedback I received on this glitch in the Correspondent Discussion.
I'd like to use this thread to gather further data on this issue to be reported to the team. Please feel free to report any information you have regarding this glitch. Thanks.
Summary of the bug:

happens to me a lot. has been happening since the 10.3 patch. if we are to understand correctly:
Crit Fail = -7%
Fail = -3%
Moderate Success = Push... no gain, no loss
Success = +3%
Good Success = +5%
Great Success = +7%
Amazing Success = +8%
i believe those are fairly correct, but i could be mistaken since i never see anything less than a great success anymore. by these standards, 28% base + 5 amazing + 4 great = 96%
however, i am getting this occassionally but only hitting 94%, which would suggest something has been altered (amazing reduced by .5% possibly). since we have never been given the actual stats (which is totally stupid, devs are just freekin paranoid) it is impossible to tell where the exact chang has occurred. i understand, to a point, the secretiveness of their algos to determine this stuff, but in all fairness we need to know what each level detracts and rewards to be able to give our customers the best service we can.

Well...I may be mistaken but I know you can have say...
Say you experimented on 7 points, say you get a great, sometimes you get a good or worse success on one or more of those 7 points, thats why stats vary with the great success sometimes. I think SOE has no idea what they are doing with the experimenting.

I heard that the BE creature experimentation is very complex I believe the same goes for ours. I'm just curious about these WS saying they have that force crafting and getting amazing successes all the time and how that effects them.

Nah, we don't get amazings all the time. Since I've had it, i've seen a few more amazings than usual. The big thing I've noticed tho, is I have yet to get anything less than a great for anything.

One point here since I've been following stats and such to find theo max stats.
Somtimes great give 7% sometimes 8%
Sometimes amazing gives 8% and sometimes 9%
There is a calculation in the background that determines percentage gained and it's rounded, it's not a straight add on.

I often get amazings(and often more than one) on weapons now. I also have a full modded suit too though so not sure if you have that benfit as well as the Force Crafting, but I noticed the biggest difference when I got my Force Skills. It's definately noticable.
