Thread: scythe schematic question... just a question to see if i'm the only one

sorry if this has been asked before but does any other smiths find it easier to just sell scythe schematics rather then to make the scythes?
lately they have been selling for a high price, i sell them for a guarenteed profiet instead of taking a chance crafting them (and actually make more doing so then selling the actual scytheblades most of the time).

Any given player can get up to two schemtics, and then thats it, so this weapons is fairly limited (and this is how they should have done it will all other rare weapons). So the schematic itself is indeed worth a ton, but I see people on these boards asking to buy Scythes for 3+ million, and with even 3 scythe blades per schem (think its 3), you can make a metric butt load of cash.
I had made some fairly good ones at 320-350 (speed sliced) and sold them for 500-600K. Even those are going to see an increase based on the rarity of the item.

Yeah and now with the Geo Cave fixed your going to see those big yellow cubes getting rare and more expensive along with the Agents so up up up we go.

For the WSs that dont care much about their reputation you could always make scythes from standard geo cores. They are easy to find in set of 6 or above and make fully functional scythes. Its nothing i would recommend in the long run though but far more profitable than selling you schems.
On my server, infinity, prices on yellow cubes has gone mad. If you cant get the loot yourself you can forget all about making any profit on those scythes.

well, i'm cursed with bad luck while crafting. on average it takes me 4-6 tries to make a powerhammer or gaffi baton worth making so when it comes to scythe's(or any limited use schematic) i cringe. if i can't make something close to the best from other smiths i just don't make it, it's one of my flaws
