last time i made one i used 894 OQ green diamond gemstone with 860-975OQ on the rest of the materials... the ham started out @ 28/28/28 and was only able to get it down (maxed experimentation) to 14/14/14... was 3 wound and 4ideal range accuracy... haven't tested how high i could get the wound/accuracy but with 0-1 HAM 10 wound/accuracy regular scopes i really can't justify putting them on the guns... (i did make a few max wound/accuracy scoped guns for a friend when i first made master... he liked how hard they hit and how accurate they were but the ham costs didn't justify using them)

if you don't care about HAM and go for just ideal range you can probally pull off +40 or so depending on the resources, thats what i can get roughly, if your lucky higher

I disagree, I have a friend who is using a rifle I made with a normal scope with the accuracy as far as I could get it with no experimentation on the HAM. So far that friend likes that rifle much better than the other rifles I have made her. With the accuracy increased by 10 points (+20 on the scope instead of +10 because I am not a master yet), she hits more often with the more accurate rifle, which, she thinks, compensates for the additional HAM. Now this is in PvE and PvP is very different, so more tests would need to be run. Unfortunately, these tests are purely subjective. I would love to run some objective tests sometime, but I just don't have time right now. Also, most of the people who buy guns don't look at anything but damage and speed so, for normal sales I still experiment HAM down. But for friends and custom orders, I give them information and sometimes even reduce the cost and build two rifles for them so they can test out the difference themself.

I think it is easier to justify the HAM costs on an ideal range mod/wound chance experimented regular weapon scope than on an advanced weapon scope. The base HAMs are not quite as extreme. Although I am able to experiment on the HAMs on my advanced scopes and get them down to 1/1/1, which makesfor a very HAM efficient scope to give a minor boost to the wound chance and accuracy.

+38 @ ideal 20/20/19

I like small type 5 scopes. The black ones with curved lenses.

My advanced scopes on eclipseare coming up 2/2/2 HAM, +15 Ideal Range, +5 Wound

All but 1 experiment point into efficiency.1 point into range.

Seems like quite a good range boost for hardly any HAM effect.
