hi all...
just wanted to ask if these are any use - they seem to increase the speed of VKs etc by -0.5.
I got 5 of em from a easy quest...are they worth selling to weaponsmiths? 0or can you make em and they're just junk...

These motors are great for accuracy, but they can hit the HAM's hard. In my opinion, whatever you make with them you will want to experiment on efficiency to bring down the HAM costs. As such, the resulting weapon will not be the greatest in damage or speed, but very accurate.

In my experience they do best in pike weapons. Making a VK with one is a waste.

Agreed. These make great lances, LVAs, and VLs. They're kind of a waste in VKs unless you need a really fast pair for leveling brawler or something.

Let me explain....
If I'm reading your post right those are the lighweight vibro motors you get from the rebel theme park. Those are only slightly faster than what I normally make myself. So my VKs are typically spd 2.2 while thoses would be 2.1 (I know that for a fact). BUT mine have much better damage so I'll lose around 10 points for only 0.1 less in spd. Yes the accuracy is better on the lightweights but TKA's don't have accuracy problems so it gives you no advantage. Pikemen on the other hand do have accuracy problems. Not as much as they use to but they still aren't as accurate as TKAs. I don't remember the stats on my pike weapons off the top of my head but the faster speed of the lightweights did more for the vibro lance than for a VK, and the loss of dmg wasn't as much of an issue. HAM< is alittle higher with the lightweights but I don't remember it being too bad.
