Thread: curious about some sword cores i got

I looted some sword cores the other day that are better than usual, but i wanted to know if they were still anygood.


Tehir regualr sword cores, not reinforcment, and the min dmg 45, and the max dmg 40, -0.567 somthin on the speed, and i forget what else there was if anything.


Thx for your help, and another question is whats the diffrence between reinforcement cores and just sword cores?

Reinforcement cores are for powerhammers, gaffi sticks, and stun batons.


Sword cores are for......swords.


The ones you have looted aren't bad. Roughly equal to the advanced cores I make as a 10 point smith. If they are geno sword cores you can probably sell them to a WS for scythes. Just don't go overboard on the price.

word thx a lot, i kinda figured that the sword cores were for ... swords, lol but was more curious if for any sword or a specific one,


Im a 2 handed swordsman so i guess i wanna use them then and not sell them, but they are from geo lab.


Anyways thx again for the info, any other comments or info for me would be much appreciated, trying to get a good scythe made on lowca this will help a lot.

As a point of reference (because I'm crafting right now) I've got geonosian made sword cores (from a schematic) using +16 max damage/660 unit integrity solidifying paste and +250 unit integrity green cubes coming out to these stats:

Min: 35
Max: 51
Speed: -0.49
Wound: 10
Zero Range: 7
Max Range: 7
Ideal Range: 7
Health: 7
Action: 7
Mind: 7

Obviously with damage adding yellow cubes they could get higher. I'd recommend camping Geo mobs for the cubes and paste and see if the weaponsmith has good neutronium steel (mine was only 711 unit toughness, so only 71% damage experiment) to make better cores for a scythe blade. Because of the very limited (2 uses) nature of the scythe schematic were I you I'd get the very best materials I could get my hands on before proceeding.
