Thread: New Weaponsmith asks questions :D
Ive been told about the crates of components that were made Pre-CU that are giving the longtime weaponsmiths an advantage over anyone else, what components are these, and is there any way for a new weaponsmith to compete with this lameness (besides buying them, which is next to impossible)?
Whats the best way for a master WS master artisan to get the exp for the force boxes in the village?
any other tips anyone has i would greatly appreciate
and what is it about 0004 DE that makes it quicker?
4k exp per droid ![]()
you do need a lot of subs to make it and a lot of resources hehe.
and whats a good balance between alot of resources and alot of exp per for grinding the FS crafting Exp?

It's mostly the stocks and scopes they are better then the post-cu crafted ones. And yes you can compete it's like 6 acc and 0.80 or so speed on the stock which is 0.08 because the decimal thingy is placed bad.
0004 de is the fastest way if you can afford all the resources
you will need like 16mil resource units.

The pre-CU stuff is LIMITED!!!! We only use it in high priced custom weapons and if you want to enter that market well we all hav a hard time competing.
but it still gives you an unfair advantage, especially on starsider where 3 or four weaponsmiths have a HUGE stock of this BS.
im just trying to figure out if there is any way to compete with this, or if it really is an unfair advantage.

You can do -25 stocks that does only have 0.115 speed penalty if you have the right resources so you can actually get lower sac on the stocks than what pre CU stocks have.
Yes it might seem unfair that we have this advantage and I and other smiths did point this out when the CU first hit, which is why the damage bonus was removed. As I see it now we get a small advantage speedwise on a few weapons, but on the other hand all our pre CU stock, our Pre CU enhancers and most of the schematics we had collected before the CU was made worse when CU hit so we really lost more than we gain with this advantage ![]()
