Thread: Accuracy on weapons working?

yeah after +25 to acc you really wont see that much of a benefit, however if your gun has+60 acc that gives you +35 to play with in terms of pups without any hindrance
/yay
I'm thinking accuracy bonus doesn't work though. SEA's and modded weapons (like the feather fwg5) still work. I made some weapons (the exact same stats, damage wise), one withno accuracy, one powered up with -44 accuracy and one with a looted scope with +45 accuracy.
They all did the same damage (there's a reason for that described below)and I didn't miss any more with the -44 accuracy pistol than I did with the +45 one. I also noticed that when I equipped a pistol with an accuracy bonus, none of that bonus showed in my skill sheet or my character sheet, not even 1 point. But when I equipped a feather fwg5 that has the +15 accuracy, the +15 showed in both sheets when I equipped it.
I then made another feather with looted scopes with an accuracy bonuse of 45, equipped it and only the +15 accuracy of the feather showed in the character sheet. If the accuracy bonus on weapons worked, then I should have seen an extra 10 accuracy added to my skill sheet and character sheet (since +25 is the cap on mods).
When using any of these weapons, I did not notice a big difference in shots missed.
As for whether it works as far as damage goes, the only way to test that is to attack another PC because mobs don't have Melee/Ranged defense, so you'll always hit them for the max damage with only combat level making the difference in the max damage you do. Since they have no MD/RD, your accuracy has no defense mods to check against and therefore your damage is unaffected based on the accuracy of the weapon....only the hits and misses are affected in PVE.
