I had a good laugh when I checked what was being offered to my vendor just now. 
I mean, I'm just a master weaponsmith - what do I know of such things as these:

I have seen people put descriptions on stuff like that specifically to overprice it to a noob and fool them into buying it.
I even know of someone who sold a garbage loot to a noob by telling him that it was a from a stormtropper and "you know they dont drop crappy stuff". Got 20k from the noob even though he only had 21k on him for some crappy pistol.

Almost as good as renameing a weapon a DE 10 and putting it on the bizarre. I had some noob bragging to me how he bought a de 10 off the bizarre. I thought okay must be three repairs and one point left deal. Then the kind told me there were like ten on the bizzare okay stranger things have happened. Maybe a weaponsmith finally snapped, and was giveing stuff away. Well I go on and sure enough there they were DE10s 12 of them. I quickly check the stats and look very closely. Wait a minute thats a dl44. A bad one at this. Sure enough ten guns from the same guy named DE 10.
I had heard the kid out begging for money to quote and quote get a buff. Anyway as I start to leave the bank here he comes running back in and buys all of the quote 1000 cred de10s. Anyway I watched as he went to the starport and started to scream de10s for sale 100k each. I stood there and watch for about 1 minute till everyone started to laugh at him. greed its a killer.
People can be increadibly numb.
