I am a 10 point smith and I just can't get my advanced stocks to 40/40. My aluminum is in the 800's sr and my wood is in the 600's. Other 12 point smiths with these same resources can get their stocks to 40/40. I usually use 2 points at a time when experimenting. So the question is, do you need to have 12 points to fully experiment? Or am I missing something in my experiment methods? My stocks come out 33/33, although i once got it to 34/37 through a wierd roll that slowed the speed to 1.0.

Even as a 12 pt smith it can take me 5-10 min sometimes to get a 40-40 +.292 schematic. Just keep at it.

The experimentation on Stocks is jacked... you need to get a 6pt great-amazing experiment on the first try... a 3 pt great-amazing on the second experiment, and 1 pt great-amazing to finish it off (if needed)... the quest for the perfect stock takes a lot of time and patience...

40/40 is the max u can get them. if you get one to that stat i suggest making a schematic out of it.

I was able to make a 38/40 +20/20/20 HAM cost Advanced Stock. Best I can do so far.

I made 40/40 +29 HAM but I like 20 HAM cost better.

Rolling for Advanced Stocks is like making powerups it seems. It'd be rare if you were able to get to 40/40 with 10 points. I'm using stocks now that are 40/40 0.286 26/24/26 HAM (may be off a little on the HAM, but I had 1 point leftover after maxxing out the damage).

I just ran out of the wonderful 40/40 +30 accuracy stocks I had. Now I'm lucky to get 40/40 with the same stuff, let a lone have any points to experiment in accuracy. I made that run of stocks back when I first got Master Weaponsmith, and thought once I ran out of the 100 I ran, I could just as easily make more..
