OK i got a guy ont he pistoleer forums saying that the normally crafted dx2's on flurry are 119-208 damage unsliced. Is this true cause its about 168 max damage on my server and was wondering even with all 1000 resources in the best situation what the stats on a dx2 coulb possibly be.

Doesn't sound horribly out of line, although I don't know what the limit is. It will basically depend on what resources are available on your server. With pretty bad aluminum I get about 166 max damage.

Whoever said that is a flat out liar. My unsliced are 104-164 2.4 speed you might get slightly better than that but not by a point or two. Whoever told you those stats for unsliced is full of **edit**e.

yeah i knew, i mean the WS on my server have been collecting resources since day one so i was pretty sure they didn't get much better than 160.

To properly answer this question of whether the gun is possible or not... A coupel questions need to be answered:

1) Has that gun been sliced?

2) What is the best conductivey stat seen for Titanium on *ANY* server? You cna get 105/165 on bloodfin..., but we're using with 370/908 or 329/948 stuff... 395 Conduct is the highest I've seen. The stuff I used previously was 303/966 and switching to the other stuff got me from 104/164 to 105/165. If you assume that 400 is the limit for Conduct for titanium, and you get 1 point of min/max damage for every8 points more in the stats... You would be at 135/195 with a perfect resouce... Unfortunately min/max damage does notmove linearly... Now if some server has conduct over 400...

Best I ever got on flurry is 162 max dmg...with a nice dmg slice on my weapon my max damage was 201. Fell appart during a repair though

That seems a tad high. I don't know what resources flurry has, but mine on Bria are about102-158 around 2.5 speed. should be able to get that to 2.4

I just do not see this being possible. I thought the hard cap on titanium aluminum was locked at four hundred. I think the guy is obviously confused that sounds like a scatter pistol kind of thing to me. Atleast on the lowend damage. If he is sticking to his guns on this I would say he is a liar.

Then again are you sure he said dx2 or just said dx. If he said dx he might be referring to a dxr8 carbine, and if that were the case those stats would sound right. I would bet he is talking about the dx carbine and not the dx pistol.

Yeah, those stats look about right for a DXR6 carbine. The best DX2 I've been able to make (unenhanced, unsliced, no power-up) is 167 max damage, using Areva Titanium Alum with 993 OQ (don't remember the exact CD, but apx. 200-300 iirc).

He says unsliced...but perhaps the guys got a Power up on em.../shrug, just a thought hehe.

i can't name the stats of what i use off hand on scylla but i think mine max out at around 166ish using pretty good stuff, so i would say 208 unsliced and assuming no PU is probably impossible, but then of course you could throw krayt into the mix as well...
