Hey there all you plucky weaponsmiths! I recently got a laser carbine with a stock on it, and ever since I have been in love with the idea of custom weapons made with visible components! I was wondering if anybody could answer any of the following visible component questions...

1) Can you make weapons with both scope and stock? Or do they occupy the same slot in crafting?

2) If so, are a) laser carbine b) elite carbine or c) DXR6 carbine included in that list?

3) Can any of the heavy weapons visibly customizable in any way?

I would like to add that if both components can be seen, can an EE3 be fitted with both components?

Actually I just found out from another thread the following-

DXR6-Scope and stock

EE3, Elite, Laser- Scope, stock and muzzle

Now I just need to know the following - Which styles of scopes stocks and muzzles are useable on which? And would anyone be gracious enough to build any of these listed, possibly even with different combinations of sc/st/muz types and post screenshots so us carbineers can know the options?

No, ty, but if you want screenshots keep bumping this!!! Sooner or later we'll find a weaponsmith thats cool/nice enough!

BTW, to all you WS out there, if you are on the bria galaxy I will personally pay for your building costs to see all this made, after all you can use the worst bantha poo-doo possible for resources, and destroy them after you screenshot them so it can't cost that much to make 15-20 weapons like this!!!

If I was on Bria or Bloodfin, I'd be willing to produce the weapons of which you speak.

As optional compoents, a scope can affect a weapons range, and a stock can affect a weapons damage and speed.

I have noticed that weapons like the featherweight FWG5 does not show a scope when attached, but the normal FWG5 does show a scope when it's attached.

as for lookes, scopes have about 6-8 different styles, I dont know where there are any screen shots, but I'll bet they exist someplace. As for stocks, I havn't looked too closely at how many looks you can achieve, Barrels have maybe 5 alternate appearances.

Ty, but I already did, that does not have any of the screenshots I require before I use my krayt tissues, which I have been saving up for making a nice carbine with...

Sorry about that. I commited a cardinal sin of the forums, I didn't read all the posts /embarassed.

Anyway, in that same thread we both mentioned I stated that for carbines and rifles it doesn't matter which scope/barrel/stock you use. They have a default apperance. If you were on Eclipse I'd say come by my shop, I have models of most weapons with the stock/barrels/scopes on the walls.

If you'd like my opinion the Laser Carbine looks great with all 3. The Elite Carbine also looks good with all 3 components. The EE3 would look good with the scope and stock visible, but I don't like it with the barrel.

Even if you used the squared off stock for the EE3? I thought that would look cool... well that is cool to know, I may just create a toon to come look at the weapons, can you post and/or send me the WP?

My vendor/shop is located in Terminal City, Naboo, Eclipse. 6032 2485 is right in front of my aclove. If you take a shuttle to TC, our mall is located on the lakefront to the right (if you're facing the shuttle) or left (if you are getting off the shuttle).
