Thread: Does every item have a schematic number?
It does have a number, but its random... only way to put the right number into a macro is trial and error till you get it right.
Pretty sure thats the case anyway, I have never been a macro man though.
You need to be next to a crafting station to get them
read the grinding guide in the FAQ theres some good info you can use ![]()
Start at 00 and work your way til all you make is the same thing, and you have gone thru all of your schematics.
When I get bored, I skip 10 at a time, but I write down what each is, so I can have it. One catch, if you add another schematic, like getting a new skill level, it changes most all of your schematice numbers.
SoE's way to keep you from macro'ing a master skill in24 hours.
If you are dead set on finding the number, make you a macro for just finding the schematic, leave your macro editing window open, and do 1, hit macro, set to next number, hit macro, set to next number....fall asleep....curse....new number, macro....get pissed, new number....macro.......
I think the game knows what schematic you are looking for, and makes it the last number you try.
Good luck,
In the Grinding guide in the FAQ I have included an easy way to find the schematic suggested by Warryyr, try it out it should be very helpfull.
And yeah some schematics require you to stand next to a crafting station, someeven require you to stand next to a private crafting station (IE the ones in player houses) ![]()
