Being a N00b Artisan/ Harvester i just recently not only Started Grinding WS but blew 21k Hydron 3 Gas into making Fireworks for the fun of it... think i got a whopping 3k of it left... it didn't sell well so i thought it was trash along with all the Fiberplast i harvested

OH and i wanted to State for the Record.. No u are NOT the only ancient American in this game... just a bit more ancient then some though 8cP j/k 30 yo Plumber/Fitter here.. and me hands are a bit beaten up between bouncing and construction.

I mastered today, thanks to this.
Getting those resources took time, and luck. I was resigned to the medium warhead grind until my in-game business partner spotted some Hydron-3 for sale at 3cpu. I had a recently spawned Skevon source with 2xBER13s, and so I just needed the Thoranium Steel. I decided to hunt Coronet, second vendor I searched had it! Couldn't believe my luck.
Speaking of Luck i was given 100k Steel to Grind.. Thoranium Steel to be exact... didn't catch it was that kind until i went through 5k doin the Projectile RIfle Barrel method.. since i'm nearly broke i don't have much capitol to resourse hunt ATM.
if it wasn't for luck i'd have none at all... i sold 20k of Reactive Gas just an hour before i read this Fine Post

I'm mining the Skevon class Gas now and I have 20k of it in 5k chunks on a Vendor less than 900m outside Theed on Ahazi. The cost is 5 cpu. I will be getting thousands ofunits each day. I used this method and mastered weaponsmith in just a few hours. I also have 2700 units of Hydron 3 Inert Gas and will be getting more in a few days as well.

I've been using this method sporadically, but staying entertained by nursing 17 harvesters daily, running missions, doing quests, filling orders as a master Architect, etc. If I have any advice for people trying to become MWS, it's to take your time. You can rocket to the top of the profession, but you'll be up there without most of the materials you need to make the guns everyone wants.
It was about 5weeks before I had everything I needed to make "1,779 weapons", and in the meantime, I managed to find Alantium Carbonate Ore, Titanium Aluminum, Gallinorian Rainbow Gem, and lots of the other stuff I'd eventually need as a WS. Just yesterday, I found a decent vein of Class 3 Solid Petrochemical (Corellia) and Duralloy Steel (Tattooine) -- both on Corbantis, btw -- both which are critical to the profession. Now I'm assured not only of making MWS quickly, but being able to make whatever I want when I get there.
Just get on SWGCraft.com and write down what you'll need in advance, and start collecting, and enjoy yourself in the meantime. Obviously, this doesn't apply to hologrinders...
Also, just a question, is anyone actually keeping the Heavy Warheads they make?
